Christian Ethics in Leadership

 COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will delve into the world of Christian ethics with an emphasis on its influence on leadership. We will explore key ethical challenges Christian leaders face. We will seek to equip leaders with tools to make ethical decisions that are rooted in Christian principles. As well as pursue ways to foster personal integrity and accountability in leadership roles.

 COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will help students to develop a theological foundation on Christian ethics that should strengthen and guide student’s  in their present and future leadership roles.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Reading assignment:Malphurs, Aubrey, Being Leaders: The Nature of Authentic  Christian Leadership, Baker Book, 2003.

Homework assignment: Write a two-page book review on Aubrey Malphur’s book Being Leaders: The Nature of Authentic Christian Leadership.

  • Please make the paper single spaced.
  • Discuss what was your favorite part of the book, and why?
  • Also, what part of the book were you critical of, and why?
  • (NOTE: The book review is simply your opinion of the book.)
  • Homework due date will be announced in class.

Attendance: Your attendance is required for the personal class work and teaching instruction on Saturday, January 4th from 8 am till 4 pm.
