Biblical Insights and Practical Ways to Deal with the Dark Days of Ministry
Syllabus
- COURSE DESCRIPTION
We will cover biblical perspectives on navigating through tragedy within the context of ministry. This course will emphasize scriptural principles and a theological understanding to guide pastors and church leaders in providing compassionate and steadfast leadership during challenging times.
- COURSE OBJECTIVES
The student who successfully completes this course will demonstrate the ability to:
- To have a greater understanding of the ministry of compassion and grace in hard times.
- To help leaderships better understand its role in being Christ’s representative to those in
need during difficult times.
- To have a theologically sound approach to suicide prevention, suicides aftermath, and long
term care for those who are affected by it.
