- COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will cover several aspects of the typology of Christ in the Old Testament. We will also discuss the foreshadowing of Christ in the Old Testaments.
And we will examine Christ in the Covenants of the Old Testament.
- COURSE OBJECTIVES
- The students should be able to have a basic grasp on use of the interpretive tools of typology, foreshadowing, and covenants.
- To better understand the Old Testament so that we might better understand the New Testament.
- To examine the emphasis that typologies, foreshadowings, and OT covenants offer is manifesting Christ
- COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Reading assignment: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament David Limbaugh, Regency
Publishing, 2015. (This is a resource book only. It can be obtained and read on
Google books.)
- Research: Discover and document three to five other examples of types,
foreshadowings, and or covenants that display Christ in the Old Testament. List
Scripture references and give a brief explanation of how the example points to
Christ in the Old or New Testament.
- Attendance: Your attendance is required for the personal class work and teaching
instruction on Saturday, January 8th from 8 am till 4 pm.
