Text Book: Living By the Book: The Art and Science of Reading the Bible
(Revised and Updated Ed, 2007) by Howard G. Hendrix and William D.

The book is  available on Amazon for $11.28 for paperback. There is also a
hardcover and audio version available.
There is an optional workbook which is not required, but you may find helpful.

This class on biblical interpretation is designed to equip students to
observe, interpret, and to apply the scriptures. Students will find
this class to be biblically faithful and immediately practical.

Three major areas to be covered in the class are:
1. Observation of the text. Dr. Eric Cook will be teaching this section.
2. Interpretation of the text. Dr. Hal Bilbo will be teaching this section.
3. Application of the text. Dr. Michael Madaris will be teaching this section.

Textbook reading assignment: Read chapters 1-3, chapter 5, chapters 27-41
